About the exhibition

From 27 August to 19 September the exhibition of Elena Paic and Katya Yanova «191» will be held at gallery U10 Instagram post.

The starting point of the exhibition is 1991 — the year both artists were born and a historical milestone that shaped the contexts in which their generation formed. The exhibition brings into dialogue artists working in different geographical and social contexts, and explores how the legacy of historical events can simultaneously persist in individual experience and come into conflict with it. What is remembered and preserved is considered here alongside what remains unspoken: gaps, tensions, and unexpected resonances.
